you know, once somebody i like a whole lot told me that family was something really warm that could come in a lot of different forms. after that, a bunch more people told me it was something i had to figure out for myself. it was sort of confusing since i never had anything like that back home, but now i think that first person and i feel the same ( Read more... )

Family is a group of people who care about each other and look out for each other. You don't need to be related by blood, or even be the same species.

Soul and Miss Maka are kinda like a big brother and sister to me. Miss Ivy was like an aunt when she was here. I don't have anybody from home in this city. Well. Not anymore, but the other guy that used to be here . . . wasn't very friendly.

She was. She let me stay with her until she disappeared. Then after she was gone, Soul took me in. There's also Miss Nelliel. She's really nice, too; she was a friend of Miss Ivy's.
