[Jack yawns as he appears on the NV that night. He looks to be about ten or eleven, dressed appropriately enough for a child that age. Far from unhappy, he looks rather pleased with himself.]
Christ, you know how easy it is to get thin's at this age? All I do is give them a look and pretend to be a little sick and bam, I get a ton o' free thin's!
[He grins at them all and then begins to cough. Fixing the NV with a convincing sick look, he rasps:]
Please, Mister, me brother lost his wallet and I never got to play on here . . .
[He laughs.]
Me and Sirius won a lava lamp over at this restaurant! The kids one, the one with all the stupid games? Yeah. Mostly cuz one o' us was good at connin' tickets outta older kids.
[He pushes his fingers through his hair.]
Anyway, anybody else still a kid? Sam? I need somebody me age, I-- oye, Alois, you'd be perfect for this! I wanna try runnin' an old scam, seein' if it still works.
