[Joe is sprawled out on the couch in his working blacks, and Sector Zero coworkers may note that he should have left for his shift at the club by now, but he's feeling a bit sluggish this evening, running a few minutes late. Oh well. Chatting it up with the network before he heads off.]
Anybody know what's going on this week? Anything fun? Tomorrow's my night off, and I haven't decided on something to do yet, but I will not just hang around this sticky apartment for another second. So...anybody else got plans?
...And guess who's gonna be a Guest DJ at Twins on Tuesday night! (Griffin, you'll run Karaoke for me just once at Zero, right? I already told the manager I'd do it.) That's right, me! I'll be playing mostly electro-industrial. So anybody who likes it should come out.
I need more ideas for theme nights at Merl- At Sector Zero, by the way. So if there's something you think would be good, let me know. Also! Yako, you can come by and take those calendar pictures whenever, just give me a buzz.
[He squints a little closer at the NV, probably just now noticing the time, and with that hurries up on his way out the door- the next part of his post is recorded as he heads down the stairs, the image jostled dizzily]
Yeah and, uh...Xion? Roxas? A fuse or something blew again this morning, and half the power went out in the apartment and I didn't even realize it till I woke up, and the landlord's not coming around to flip the breaker till later on- she also says the electric utility's soaring for the air conditioner again, and. Sooooo, we've got to work out some other way of staying cool. I think we might have to give that weird
SERO cube-thing a try. Or just eat more ice cream. Or not live in such an old building. I wonder if we could find a cheaper place, since it's just the three of us now.
Speaking of SERO, [And here he waves around a tri-fold brochure that's been shoved at him earlier on the street] isn't it lousy that they've got their own high-tech gym and arcade and training programs and everything, and all their crummy pamphlets they give out for their hospital research programs are about how people should stay active and healthy like those white-coat worms in their labs are the experts, but then they stay there underground in their basements and hook people up to machines to keep them in good shape while they go shut down everything free you wouldn't have to pay for, like skate parks?
