Bonjour is hello. [A small laugh.] That was "thank you, sir". I'm glad you appreciate my paintings!

Painting, cooking... is there anything you can't do, Francis? Operate a hot air balloon, maybe? [ She laughs, propping her chin on her hand. ]

You have a daughter and a son, huh...? How old are they now? [ Adopted? There's something about the way he says his daughter is 'from' Seychelles that seems odd. ]

[He laughs softly at that.] Non, I can't do that. Nor can I speak Japanese!

Ah, they're too old! They need to go back to being little children again, when I could hold them in my lap!

Well, it's good to know you have some weaknesses!

They must be really cute. Do they take after you, or their mother?

I have plenty of weaknesses. Little children being one. If Pino hadn't asked me to show her some scenes from my world, I don't think I'd ever have gotten into painting again!

Oh, they are. They will always be mes petits bébés. I like to think they take after me, mais, I'm sure they're tired of their old papa by now.

[Have a very impressed little AutoReiv, staring in wonderment.]

Ah - Francis! They're beautiful! Is there really a place that beautiful somewhere?

[Yay, the star of the show~]

Oui, of course! These are some of the prettiest places I've seen in my whole life, in my home world.

Oh, bonsoir, Roxie dear! Well I would certainly like to think so. Merci!

How have you been settling in, since I spoke to you last?

Well, you're very welcome. [Two can play the flattery game, after all~]

Fine, just fine. My first trip to the store was a little scary, but this place is definitely interesting.

[Oh, Francis certainly loves flattery~]

That's very good to hear. And you've been staying nice and cozy in your apartment at night, oui?

Do you sell them in this city?

Reply

Permavideo paysdelamour May 10 2011, 04:43:55 UTC
Unfortunately these three are not for sale, monsieur, I promised these three to a darling little girl whom I love very much. If she doesn't want them or if her papa won't let her keep them, I might sell one or all of them.

Mais, I might be persuaded into some sort of commission, if you have any ideas.

- Oh, no, I was just going to ask if you had trouble attracting customers as a Newcomer. But I'll remember that you do commissions. [it could be a good gift idea...]

Oh, you misunderstand me, monsieur - I'm a chef who works the night shift at Lion's Gate, not a professional painter. I haven't painted in a long while... mais, I thought it would be a good idea to start again. It was a hobby of mine, back home.
