PLOTTING: Operation Catch That Frenchie

Sep 28, 2011 00:29

So, Raphael's been on the lam lately since he was pinpointed as the guy who tried to eat a bunch of people a while back, and it's about time for the dumb bastard to get himself caught. THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN.

I've already heard from a few people who want to be involved in bringing down everybody's favorite French vampire, so it's about time we get this show on the road and plot! I will try to get this thread rolling this weekend (maybe Thursday night or Friday sometime) so here is the place to mention if you want to jump in on the excitement.

Raph may be a singular foppish former noble, but he's not going down without a fight. I figure the chase will go down in a few sections.

FIRST SECTION will be Raph being initially spotted, probably checking in on Amy, sometime very early in the morning (before dawn and before sirens have gone off again.) He will then be then chased through the city and pursued by the cops and bounty hunters who have taken it on themselves to bring him in. This is the opportunity to get into a fight with him, either one on one or in pairs or so. This is also a good chance to get bitten. Yeah, three or four assault counts clearly isn't enough for him... the adrenaline and the darkness will send his thirst out of control and he might stop for a quick drink or two on the way.

Raphael is from a fighting game, so he can definitely handle himself in a fight. He is an expert with the rapier and capable of disarming multiple opponents who attack him. Guns and powers he is not so good at defending against... but his curse DOES give him enhanced strength, speed and endurance when it's dark out. He will hold up just fine, escaping several times and trying to flee.

Once the sun comes up, however, he's pretty boned.

SECOND SECTION will be after the morning sirens have sounded and the sun comes out. In daylight, Raphael has all the endurance of an asthmatic kid in a dust cloud running up the side of a hill. He'll be greatly weakened, sluggish and tired. This will be the ideal chance for the cops to move in and take his dandy ass down. He STILL won't be giving up though, just these fights will be a lot more lopsided and result in him running away more than he'll be trying to fight.

SO does that sound fun? Yay! Please comment with your character, what role they play (cop, bounty hunter, well-meaning do-gooder trying to talk Raph into surrendering peacefully, etc) and what section you would like to appear in.

I'd like to save the actual arrest for the police, so if you play a police officer and you want to get in on that, claim a spot and we can work out the kinks.

If you want to ask me any direct questions, here's a good place or you can AIM me at FullArmoredGG. Mazeltov!
