Oh I do so love the old cat and mouse chase. I think Van Helsing will definitely be of the hunting party, but really wants to see what the cops will do with Raph. He'll have no intent on capturing him, just when antagonizing him along the way and watching him lose steam is so much more fun ;)

Well, Shika will come after Raph when he hears about the sighting! To prevent anyone else getting hurt, at least. But since he can only control someone for five minutes before he faints, I guess Raph will take a bite out of him once he collapses?

Yeah, he carries tons of V with him for situations like these. He'll heal almost instantly.

Coooool... if you want, Raphael could get pretty vicious with him, since he will be pretty damn offended that Shika would offer to help him and Amy and THEN would try to get Raph arrested.

Well! I've mentioned before that Caster wouldn't mind giving him temporary shelter, but if there's any risk of her being labeled as something like an abiding accessory...I wouldn't mind offering her up as one of Raphael's biting victims instead. But it would have to be quick to the point of taking her off guard. Then he should probably run because, being a heroic spirit, physical/non-magical/non-supernatural attacks from his rapier are completely ineffective on her. (But I'm assuming that his vampiric bite is, well, vampiric in nature, so that would work~.)

Alternatively, looking at your plans with Shikamaru, perhaps she could enter the scene after he faints and Raphael is in the process of being vicious to him? She wouldn't mind engaging in a brief fight with him then, since it would look good to come to Shika's defense. A-Although, there is a small part of her that couldn't simply overlook it...not that she'd admit it. I'd welcome him to bite her if he can (in fact, it's preferred!), but it really won't be easy. She might be labeled as an accessory or abetting a fugitive, so getting her bit might be a better option. And actually, Raphael's bite isn't contagious. He's only a real vampire in the sense that he has a curse that makes him drink blood-- he can't spread it through bites.

Drop Shika-mun a line to see what she thinks! I'm easy, and something will need to scare him off before he carves Shika into little meaty pieces.
