It was six o'clock, dead on the hour and Xerxes Break was pretending to look at his watch. Standing just inside the entrance to the underground mall. He'd been early of course, seeing as he travelled via shadow this evening. Dressed to kill in a spiffing lilac shirt, white rose in the breast pocket and complimenting white dress trousers, his cane was even all dressed up, having a pretty tumbling bow of the same claret that his single eye was, tied around the slim walking aid.
He wore a smile on his face too, hair tied back in a short ponytail, why he happened to look dashing! Lets hope his date had put in at least enough effort to wear a shirt, rather this was just the fulfillment of a lost bet or not, was beside the point. Break wanted to took his best, make this date look as convincing as it could, in order to bring about the maximum embarrassment to his date!
So there he stood, humming a tune and tapping his cane off the asphalt.
