All Quiet on the Western Front is a good book, there are speaknotes for it, though

Yeah, I probably won't actually read All Quiet, I'll just skim it to review anything I might have forgotten (since I read it in high school, so many years ago) and use sparknotes for coming up with ideas.

Agreed, All Quiet is a great book. Hint of warning, though, try to use Sparknotes as little as possible. I have no idea how, but profs can tell, even when you quote sources from the original book. At least my profs can...

Also, if you need any help writing about it, or World War novels in general (be it I or II), lemme know.
