Anne - I am absolutely blown away. I can't believe you have been hiding this writing talent from us! I could actually feel the horror that Luke was feeling. I have been in that situaton, seeing the person you are still in love with with someone else. You try so hard to hold it together, but then the dam breaks. And to have to listen to their conversation in the bathroom? I'd be hoping I blacked out. To hear that your relationship was so insignificant? Horrifying and painful. I am glad that you ended it as you did. Not only does it give Luke hope, but we the reader as well. And thank God! The thought of Reid with that sleezeball disturbs me almost as much as it does Luke! (OK, maybe not THAT much, but yeah....)

This was such a breath of fresh air compared to part one. Love Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, and so glad the other man and Reid aren't really together. HOpe and love walk hand in hand.
