Across from the platform, on the rear wall of the tube station near my house, there is, for the moment, a huge billboard advertising the fact that Qantas will soon start flying the A380 from Sydney to London. Its a huge aerial photo, take on a sunny day, looking west from about 400m east of the Opera House, takes in Waverton to the Botanic Gardens ( Read more... )

So other than Basil...what else have you found there to compare with the fine Sydney pipes? Cockroaches? Snakes? Scorpions?

I actually made a slight faux-pas Bazil Brush is a squirrel. I shouldve said Roland Rat. Other than large rodents you only fine small millipedes, intestinal worms and the odd spider beneath London. No scorpions nor manhole shaft Drop Bears sadly.

the photo pf the A380 is photoshopped. David and I were at Milson's point on the day of the flyover and the plane was heard but not seen due to the cloud cover at the time. A huge advertising of the event was all for nothing.

Yeah, its photoshopped, or else Airbus have gotten such clean burning englines that they leave no heat trail.
