My popoffacork story is now seventeen thousand, five hundred words long, and I have a solid chunk left to write. Talking to people on the street.

You know, I always feel like you would be a beneficial person for me to travel with, or indeed just wander around with, because you always DO seem to talk to random people on the street or wherever you seem to be, which I suck at (it takes me several months to become friendly with even coworkers, so strangers are kind of out of the question). I think you'd be super good to walk around taking pictures with, you wouldn't be reticent about interracting with someone. So yes. You should come hang out in California and we can go talk to people.

I tend to be more skeevy around people I've known for a short period of time, like coworkers and people I've gone on dates with and things like that. Random dude on the bus will be getting off in four stops. Secretly I just like a built-in escape hatch.

By which I mean dude, do not suggest these things to me, I am ready to hie myself off to the airport right now. I think that is an excellent idea. Let's make that a plan.
