Been thinking about this one all day... I even looked up "hobby" on dictionary.com to see if anything that I do fits. I bite my nails. I drink wine. I think way too much. I have lost my passion for almost everything

im an optimist most of the time as well, it doesnt mean its normal and even healthy to have a dose of this once in a while....besides, I am sure its time like these that are the precurser to much much bliss and happiness.

I am punk-ass broke right now, but I'm gonna win the lottery pretty soon, and I still have some frequent flier miles - so I will be coming to Portland in October of this year!!!!

I've gone through this very same thing and for me, it normally means i just need a change, just enough to stir things up.

I've had several unexpected changes lately. Maybe that's what threw me into a funk in the first place. However, I felt then like I needed a change - and I still do. Just not sure what! (Be careful what you wish for...) :)

Even if I won the lottery, I don't imagine my life would change all that much. Volunteer more, and finally write a book or something. :)

I hear that. Loud and clear, I hear that. While I don't want to be rich, I have always thought that people who say "money can't buy happiness" have never been really, fear-you'll-end-up-on-the-streets broke.
