I know which tube station you mean - I've used it countless times - but buggered if I can remember which one it is - thats going to bug me all day now!

Googling is so far suggesing Russell Square (possible, but unlikely) or Lambeth North (very unlikely). I thought it was one that I used to use quite often though, like Liverpool St, Moorgate, Angel, one of the Camden or Kensngton ones or Oxford St / Tottenham Court Rd etc.

I got the distinct impression that one wasn't supposed to use the staircase, although it was easily accessible.
