Fun in the sun screeee March 28 2011, 02:01:49 UTC
[The sand is soft, if a bit hot, and the lakewater is crystal clear. This is where the beach magic happens. Volleyball, sunbathing, swimming, (buddy-system, guys. this is important.) sandcastles, harrassing seagulls, YOU NAME IT.]

[Joe lets out a content sigh as he inhales the sea air and feels the sand between his toes. He has shed his leather for this occasion. And what's this? He seems to have a guest in the form of the troll Eridan Ampora, the poor boy literally having been dragged out to socialize.]

Now ain't this better than stayin' in the house and mopin'?

Ablabla I got all caught up in shit I'm sorry. 8C fuckinfeelins March 30 2011, 23:28:07 UTC
[.... This was not what he wanted at all. Eridan was not looking forward to be getting out and going here of all places. It was nice to be out in the sun again, but....

... Not when it was here.]

Fuck...

[He could smell the sea, everything about the sea. The memories were just flooding back to him. Eridan huffed angrily and stomped his foot.]

Not when it's here, Joe! I would have been a-fuckin'-okay if it was like... I don't know, a forest or somethin'. I mean c'mon! This is like torture for fuck's sake!

Ya have ta face loss kid. Its part a growin' up. Anyway I'm comin' and a bunch a your friends are here.

[Of course Joe didn't realize that Eridan was forever alone, so he didn't get how this was kind of mean.]

Anyway, there's food and I'm tired of eating off the no credits menu.

At the treeline screeee March 28 2011, 02:02:29 UTC
[For those who aren't fond of the summer heat or are HOODIE-WEARING GRUMPS, this is the place for you. The trees provide nice shade, the breeze is nice, and it's just a stones throw away from the rest of the party. Seriously someone could throw you a hotdog if you asked nice.]

[He is not a hoodie-wearing grump B|!
But Anon is chilling under the trees - or rather in one, crouched on a low branch because he trusts the trees more than the grass. At least he knows why trees are weird, and it's darker here than it is out there. He's quietly watching the goings-on, occasionally staticking when he notices something odd and decides to investigate it later.

Of course, white-glowing guys in shiny black armor sitting in shady trees are not exactly the best at hiding. Ever.]

[Yeah, the white glow sort of gives you away, man.

Thane, who is adept to climbing shenanigans and hiding, really has no problem making his way to greet the program. He keeps a respectful distance, but there's nothing wrong with dropping by to check in with him, he supposes.]

Anon. Hello.

not much, dude. sucking at hiding. you? traceurmonitor March 28 2011, 04:50:31 UTC
[He would try to do something about that, but he is not one for subtlety really.

Anon is not so intently focused as usual, and notices Thane soon enough to not be startled. He even perks slightly upon seeing him; generally, he does like him. It probably doesn't hurt that he's curious about him as well.]

Greetings, Thane.

[Said with the warmest tone his greetings get for folks he knows that aren't Flynn, Tron, or Gibson.]

Dat grill screeee March 28 2011, 02:03:01 UTC
[Charcoal? Propane? Burges, brats, hotdogs-- you name it, it's being cooked here. Picnic tables are set up, and there's plenty of room for umbrellas or towels. Eat, drink, and be merry, folks.]

[Now normally he'd probably be over in the "sulking by the trees" group, but there's delicious meat here. He's going to try to be on his best behavior, but ye 6'10" heavily muscled guy doesn't look like the most approachable individual.]

[Not approachable? He can consider himself approached. Even if he does smell vaguely of gunpowder. Red is all up in his face in all of her 5'9" holographic glory, head tilted to the side owlishly.]

Are eating? Have eaten? Should eat. [This is obviously a pressing concern.]

Hold your horses, I'll eat when it's cooked.

[Isn't that the girl who freaked out at the dance? Good thing he's unarmed. (Not that he couldn't kill half this party with his bare hands before they knew what was going on.)]

Later that evening... screeee March 28 2011, 02:04:16 UTC
[Once the sun has set and the sand has cooled, the bonfire begins. It's cozy and warm-- the perfect place for story telling, reflecting, and drinking beer.]

[ Guess who finally decided to show up. Barely but an outline against the bonfire, the terminator moves out from the tree line- twigs and leaves stuck in its matted down, artificial mess of short brown hair. And its still wearing sunglasses. ]

[John makes his way over to the Terminator, looking concerned.]

Was wondering when you'd show up.

I was-

[ It doesn't move much, and it was difficult to tell (what with the sunglasses and night and all), but it appeared to be looking at the foliage covering its hair and clothes. ]

busy. Are you safe?
