[ So Arbiter hadn't been kidding when he'd implied that he lived in the most hostile environment he could tolerate. Sea cliffs reminded him too much of him and were furthermore too accessible, so he picked out a little spot in a tropical rainforest instead. It was an ideal place for a hideout, the heat and moisture foiled motion trackers and scrambled electronics, and there were large predators that even he had to be wary of.

It was no place for a human or a small Sangheili child. Which is why he's waiting at the outskirts of the forest near the teleporter, not giving a shit what Tucker thought about his coddling. ]

[Junior is unusually attached to any member of his species he sees. It's mostly a result of never seeing them for long periods of time due to the amazing amounts of death that seem to follow his mom by coincidence. So naturally, despite Tucker's protests, Junior jumps off hr shoulders and scurries towards Arbiter. Tucker hauls ass after him, picking him up when his little legs just can't run fast enough, and slinging him over his shoulder while he fusses about being treated like a child.

Tucker is... unsure face about how to react to Arbiter when she's face-to-chest with him. Why are these guys so tall anyway? She settles for being an ornery bitch and after letting Junior down so he can gape in awe, points a finger at him in irritation and grits her teeth behind her visor.]

I'd hit you in your stupid patronizing face it I wasn't absolutely sure I'd probably break my hand.

[Cross arms. Sulk forever.]

[ OHMYGOD SMALL CHILD ROCKETING TOWARDS HIM oh thank god Tucker caught him. Arbiter shifts uncertainly. It's hardly Tucker's fault that she hadn't instilled the proper discipline into the child at the correct age. He is old now to be learning what had been drilled into other Sangheili hatchlings from the moment they could walk. ]

Enough.

[ He sinks to one knee in front of her in a clatter of armor. ]

I did not agree to this meeting to endure lectures. Sacrosanct has become too dangerous to allow this to continue. The child must be named and accepted into a clan lineage so that his training may begin. He must have a male family member to guide his sword hand.

[Tucker steps back when he kneels, eying him warily as she adjusts Junior on her shoulder and shushes him when he acts up. He scrunches himself down in a small ball and looks at Arbiter with inquisitive eyes and a tilted head.]

Woah woah woah. Back the hell up. [Confused tone of voice is very confused.] I though I was coming here to teach you how not to get your dumbass shot. And now we're talking about namings and clans and training.

[And names. Oh boy names. Tucker's voice is getting a little snarky at that, and she puts a hand on her hips and smirks behind the helmet.] Don't like the name he has now?
