[ So someone here is kind of pissed at York for inviting extra trouble from the Spartans over that baby Elite, and that someone is Tex, and even though she's not yet feeling 100% she's made repeated excuses to get out on her own. Omega could and did feed himself but not intelligently, sometimes, and was lazy to a fault besides. It was good for him to be taken on sustained flights over the various garden zones, and good for her to just be... away.

Also, Omega needed to be scrubbed down and oiled after weeks of neglect, so after he'd gorged on some herbivores she directed him to touch down by an idyllic looking pool, complete with waterfall and cave. He shed his harness willingly, jaws still bloody, and leapt directly into the water to paddle around, fanning his wings under the waterfall to sluice them clean. Tex made a disgusted noise at being soaked by the splash and stripped down to tanktop and panties, grabbing a brush and towel and wading in after Omega to start the long process of cleaning him. ]

[Startled out of a light doze by an incoming vehicle FIF signal on his helmet, Emile rolls into some scraggly bushes for cover and peers down at the pool. They didn't have any vehicles here, did they?

What the fuck that's not a vehicle. That's the dragon that kidnapped Jun! And it's bloody! And it's...got another girl this time, who's naked and hot.

Emile pulls out his kukri and ponders it thoughtfully. He can't leave that girl down there, but he's not going to be able to do a whole hell of a lot against that dragon with just a knife (badass as the knife is).

So for the moment he just stands there and assesses the situation, ready to jump down if the dragon makes one threatening move toward her.]

[ Tex doesn't notice, of course, being occupied with swearing at and cleaning a very large, mobile dragon who likes to wiggle and be uncooperative because he thinks it's funny and dunk her underwater. He notices, lifting his head from the water and forked tongue flickering out to scent the air. The frilled ruff around the crown of his skull rises in interest, and he shakes his head like a dog before turning to nose at his rider. She swats at him with the long-handled brush, prompting a growl that Emile has no reason to know is only mock-menace. Omega's jaws part and close on the brush, and he promptly drags Tex underwater. ]

[...Yeah, that shit's not gonna fly, only armed with a knife or not. Emile pops up and looks ready to leap down there, focusing hard to look for weak spots on all that armor.]
