[He honestly wasn't sure if this was such a grrqt idea, in retrospect, and the only way he could convince Emile to come was im armor and under the guise of playing escort. He just hoped Four would forgive him - and maybe even get something out of his.]

[Jun sure hoped to get something out of it, but as they made hei way to the Counselor's office, he realized he wasn't really sure what.]

[So here Counselor; have a Spartan in green, looking a little less relaxed than usual.]

[Make that two Spartans, one who simply radiates discomfort. He;s come along as a favor to Jun, after all, but Emile's pretty aware of not only how long it's been since his last psych eval (too long), but also how very unhinged he's been lately.

Still, he won't talk unless someone forces him.]

[ He's expecting a Spartan -- how he's managed it he's not entirely sure, but given their position on the station he could hardly say no. What they know about Freelancer and his role in it is questionable at best, but for now the Counselor looks like nothing more than his role, opening the door with a smile that can't help but melt into surprise at the second figure. ]

This is a surprise. Please, come in. There are more than enough seats.

Haha, let's just hope they hold our weight! [Yes, Jun may be laughing, but there's the slightest hint of tension in it. He slings his rifle off his shoulder and props it against a chair before easing himself into it, half expecting it to give out under him and pleasantly surprised when it doesn't. He takes his helmet off and sets it down next to the rifle, getting comfortable.]

This is a bad idea. It's entirely a bad idea. Why does he need to speak to a human about his problems? He doesn't, but it was his idea to come. Delta had informed him of a professional, someone that was accustomed to dealing with people's issues, and from his chat over the network with the human... he was, acceptable for the time being.

Given how things were going, some help with his emotions could be good for him. Especially from someone who had an outside view on things.

This was logical.

Or so he keeps telling himself.

Taking a deep breath, Shockwave knocks on the door. It'll be okay. This is a good thing. Logical. Logical. Logical.

He's not quite sure what to expect from this particular patient -- an alien with emotional issues, he'd called himself, though what it entails he hasn't the slightest idea. If nothing else, though, he's up for the challenge, and he only hopes something useful will come of it.

That is, after all, the whole idea.

The man's appearance is as much a surprise as it had been over the wearable (purple hair, really, and he doesn't particularly look like an alien), but the Counselor's face betrays none of it, simply offering a welcoming smile.

"Shockwave. A pleasure to meet you in person. Please come in."

"Likewise." he utters, carefully making his way inside and looking around.

Okay, this wasn't so bad thus far. Even if he just got there and nothing had really happened. This Counselor guy didn't seem to be a threat, and maybe he could speak to him and have everything be okay.

"I am not entirely certain as to what I am supposed to do, so I apologize in advance."

He fidgets slightly, he can do this.

"That's quite all right. Please feel free to sit down."

The Counselor leads him inside, waving a hand towards the chair, and takes his own seat across the room, picking up the datapad resting there.

"You may do whatever you like, Shockwave. Is there something in particular you'd like to discuss with me?"

[Washington is seriously uneasy and trying to ignore the annoying whispers of the voices telling him this is a bad idea. A very bad idea. They need to find Epsilon. Make him come back. Not talk to the Counselor about why Epsi doesn't want to come back.

It's no different than any othe psych eval. Just relax. At least, that what he's telling himself as he arrives.]

[ If there's any session the Counselor's looking forward to, it's this one. He's seen the way this particular version of Washington has been deteriorating over the network, and given how vigilant the other one appears to be, the sooner he listens to them the better. The smile on his face is familiar, though there's the slightest hint of anticipation behind it. ]

It's good to see you again, Agent Washington. Why don't you come in?

[Between the pressure of the voices in his head and his discomfort, he completely misses the anticipation in the smile as he enters.] It is? Why?

It's been a long time, that's all.

[ Longer for him than you, but he won't get into that now. Instead, the Counselor leads him into the room he's prepared, nodding at the seat. ]

I trust your journey here was safe. This station has more than its share of dangers.

[I'll listen.

She recognizes the wearable it's sent from, and remembers the man she'd talked to - he was a little weird, but he'd seemed all right.

And as it happens, Parker has had a lot of trouble lately with people not listening to her, or not believing her when they do. Someone actually offering is practically unheard of.

The location ping itself is impossible to ignore, of course. She watches the door from across the street for awhile, but there doesn't seem to be too much movement, and soon she's moved on to watching from a tree in the front yard, and finally to entering the apartment itself.

It's on the first floor, and the windows are unlocked, opening easily and soundlessly. Parker slips in and drops silently to the carpet, looking around curiously.]

[ He doesn't spend much time at the "office," as a rule, but given that he'd opened himself up to having appointments, the Counselor had decided to remain there through most of the mornings. If nothing else, it was a quiet place to go over some of his notes from his other appointments.

He's got an eye on the sensors simply to know when people arrive, but the fact that someone's heading for his window is more than a little unusual. He's not given to panic, but he's more than a little startled, even though he can rule out a few particular suspects. Agent Washington had never been a master of stealth, and he knows his location is as secure as he could make it.

No, it must be someone else, and he encrypts his notes, accessing the rest of the sensors on his wearable to watch for whoever it is is paying him a visit. ]

[There's not much to see. The apartment is sparsely furnished and undecorated; there are hints that someone's been there recently, but a quick look at the empty cupboards in the kitchen confirms that no one's actually living here.

She makes her way steadily and silently through the rooms, still not quite sure what she's looking for. Some kind of hint, maybe, about who this person is and exactly why he'd offer to listen.

What she finds, finally, is a room with light shining out from under the door, and she pushes the door open to find herself face to face with a man sitting behind a desk, looking entirely too unsurprised at seeing her.

Parker stands in the doorway, and they just stare at each other for a long moment before she speaks.]

Hello.

[ It wasn't really hard to get the apartment's cameras to sync up to his wearable, but the Counselor is pleasantly surprised at the identity of the woman he sees wandering through the rooms. He'd had some doubt as to whether or not she'd respond to the message he'd sent, but any concern was clearly unfounded.

She appears in the doorway, and he takes a moment to look her over, waiting for her to make the first move, and-- there we are. He smiles, setting his datapad down on the desk. ]

Hello.

I would have answered the door.

This is something he's pretty sure he needs. There's only so much confessing to friends about the damn truth he can do before he's sick of feeling like shit for shoving his crap onto them. Everyone else, as far as he's concerned, has bigger and worse things to worry about than his own personal demons.

So something from a professional? Fuck yes, thank you, he will take it. Alejandro knows he could use a goddamn therapist after everything that's happened, and he definitely knows he isn't the only one.

He's just probably the only one in his ring of friends that'll admit to it.

So here he is, making his hesitant approach, knocking on the door.

They may have spoken only briefly, but the Counselor had taken the time to look over some of Alejandro's other posts to get a feel for what toHe imagines he'll be a different patient than those he's used to, perhaps, but he'll have his uses.

He rises when he hears the knock on the door, opening it with a smile and an easy nod.

"Welcome, Mr. Borges. Please, come in and take a seat."

"Yeah, sure."

There's not much hesitation here; he expects this guy is a professional and knows what the hell he's doing. So in he goes. Alejandro scratches the back of his neck before he decides that, yes, he'll sit down as instructed.

Nothing about this is quite relaxing yet, though. Not he's expecting an instant cure, but talking about all the damned shit that's happened? Less than fun.

"Thanks, uh. For this."

The Counselor takes a seat across from him, picking up the datapad on the side table and placing it in his lap. It's more habit than anything else -- he's recording everything and can play it back should he choose to take notes, but the weight is familiar, at least.

"You're more than welcome," he says warmly, sitting back in his chair. "Would you care to tell me a few things about yourself, Mr. Borges?"
