It's particularly loud in this form, like an elephant with a head cold. Ladon has found a sunny patch amid the moss and the trees and is fast asleep. His great belly is in the air, expanding like a big balloon with each snort, deflating with each sputter. One leg kicks every once in a while.
He's vulnerable and oblivious. An easy mark, if a hunter's in the mood for a dragon trophy.

Then he brings up his omnitool in order to record the sleeping dragon.
No. There are a few reasons in which he cannot kill this creature. He's aware that a dragon or perhaps more actually belong to someone. That, and a sleeping target is hardly very... sportsman-like, if that's the right English word for it.
At best, Thane watches. But he has no plans of taking aim and firing today.

Especially when Ladon manages to kick a nearby tree hard enough that it drops a pinecone on his snout and wakes him up.
He makes an annoyed sound at his nap being interrupted, then rolls over onto his side. Then perks into alertness. Did he just see something orange and glowy in the forest or are his sleepy eyes playing tricks on him?

At this point, Thane turns off his omnitool, ceasing all recording; the drell figures now is a good time to slip away in case this was a hostile creature.
Almost silently, the assassin crawls up into a tree, heading through the branches of other plants in order to avoid being spotted to the best of his ability.

He knows that's a silly notion. They're all stuck in this tin can anyway.
Eventually, though, he must stop to rest. Landing on a small rocky outcropping, he hands his feet over the edge and extracts a bit of bread that he has to force himself to eat. He'll lose more weight if this keeps but, but it's difficult with the waves of anxiety that strike him on a regular basis.

They both have demons chasing them, and neither of them are willing to share.
You can't help him. You can hardly help yourself, Irikah murmurs by his ear.
Perhaps in defiance of her, he stubbornly walks towards Skyfire.
"Drele?" he calls out.

"Oh-"
His shoulders drop slightly in relief.
"You gave me quite the scare," He says standing and brushing himself off. He hasn't seen Thane since- well. In a couple weeks, really. He shifts from one foot to the other.
"Hello my friend."

The drell gently puts his hand to Skyfire's forearm reassuringly. "I have not seen you for sometime now. Have things improved?"
It's easier to inquire others of their own complications than speak of his own.

Not that it will really do her much good, but it's always how Vandal goes outside. Rig and a plasma cutter. Even if this station seems peaceful, that's only a vague illusion of the reality of the situation. She's staving off the hallucinations as they come, but it's a losing battle. She just manages to keep quiet about it mostly.
No need to bother Clarke and Borges and Altman with it. They all have the same shit, really. If not worse. Her injuries are still bad, but she had to get outside, and with the work the automated hospital did, at least she's able to limp.

Tracking her is of no complication. Like a boy, he briefly considers scaring her on purpose. He quickly decides this is a poor choice, considering where she's from.
Instead, he's direct, following closely behind her.
"Karrie."

Thane will find himself on the business end of the laser aiming system of her plasma cutter. It's leveled with one of his knees out of instinct.
"Fucking- fuck, Thane! What- sh- god damn!" She wrestles off her helmet awkwardly. It's apparent she still doesn't have full use of her hands yet. Not by a long shot.
"Do you make a habit of scaring the living fuck out of people or what?"

Thane raises his hands faintly to show that he has no dark intentions, although he knows Vandal will understand that much. Still, he doesn't want to seem threatening to her.
"I am sorry, but I did speak your name. I assumed that was not startling. I do not know of many necromorphs that speak," Thane points out politely. "Are you all right?"

Yes. What do you need?

He's not in armour and has no intention of suiting up for this. It'd make it... impersonal, in a way. And he's pretty sure Thane deserves better than that.

Nothing too terribly important anyway. Thane sets his rifle onto his back and heads off to find a teleporter in order to meet up with Thom in Zone 04.
His instincts say it's probably bad news. He hopes that's just paranoia.
What do you think? Irikah laughs cruelly at him. When's the last time you ever heard good news?
