[ The video feed snaps back on, the figure in tactical gear is hunched down as an extra large hoodie floats around him, the hoodie appearing to contain an amorphous but still impossibly solid shadow child.
This goes on until the "solider" attempts to tackle it, the shadow of course evades. They take turns dodging tackles until it totally devolves into the scene of an over six foot special ops guy and a shadow child chasing each other around the room emitting clicks and whistles like a pair of dogs chasing each other's tails.
While both being incapable of expression, they appear to be having a fucking blast doing it. ]

[Really, she should have been more surprised when a man in a hoodie with a nondescript shadow-creature riding him like a pony came bursting around the corner. Mostly, though, she was just annoyed by the feedback.]
What the hell?
[They were riding around her like she was home base or something, all screeching and clicking like it was a game. If she'd been able to flip the lights on and off she would have, as it was, she tried to replicate the end result by pulling out her flashlight and flicking it at them like one would an unruly pet.]

The shadow was kind of freaked out when it originally met T, but now they seem to be getting along swimmingly.
It jumps on the Terminator's back when it gets an opening, scrambling up onto its shoulders and chirping. ]

[Shepard stares for a few minutes and just blinks. She considers commenting, decides against it, and just continues to stare in silence.]

After a few moments, she shakes her head and clicks off the video, returning her attention to whatever it was she'd been doing before.]
