[HAL: Does not like being threatened. Ever. It's one of those things that makes him snap a little. His safety come before those who are not crucial to the mission. It's one of those determining factors.] Unless your friend is willing to help us both out of this tight spot, rather than just you, I don't really see any other choice. Perhaps I can convince him not to kill you, as long as you pretend to have redeeming features.
