All of this sounds a lot like a new, different kind of droning to me. ...even though I can imagine that at least one of those that are gone now really was airhead enough to answer a yes to that question. [He cannot decide if this is worse or better than the "normal" droning. Both are creepy and disgusting and make him want to peel his skin

[Lithuania flinches, slightly, at being addressed. He doesn't know this man, but even strangers seem to be think there's something off about him today.]

[Is this going to be a normal conversation? He's still incredibly wary.]

[He'll dig through his pocket for a moment and then extract a list from it. After looking over it for a few moments, he nods.]

Are you aware of being a fake version of a real person?

I'm not fake.

[His frustration is obvious, layered with exhaustion.]

Do you have any way to prove that?

[Though he clearly does not believe the brunet, he seems honestly interested.]

What do you want me to do? I have the things I got back from the town. I remember not being here. Do you have any way to prove you're who you are?

Funny how quick everyone is to believe what Mayfield says.

I wouldn't believe it if there wasn't the clear proof that you are about as much a normal person as the average drone.

[He looks down at himself, as if he might be able to see some mark.]

[He studies Lithuania's face.]

No normal living being would have as little apparent personality as you. Maybe drones, but probably not even them.

[He feels insulted, even if this is just proof that Mayfield is doing something.]

How can I have less personality than a drone--that's ridiculous.

Maybe about the same amount of it.

[He raises one hand in a gesture of appeasement.]

[He sighs.]

Then nothing I say about being real is going to convince you.

If you were really the original, wouldn't you have an interest in getting those that were not on the list to try to break the spell?
