[phone/action] - not erased

[phone]

All of this sounds a lot like a new, different kind of droning to me. ...even though I can imagine that at least one of those that are gone now really was airhead enough to answer a yes to that question. [He cannot decide if this is worse or better than the "normal" droning. Both are creepy and disgusting and make him want to peel his skin ( Read more... )

[Lithuania flinches, slightly, at being addressed. He doesn't know this man, but even strangers seem to be think there's something off about him today.]

H-hello?

I-I'm Lithuania. You are?

[Is this going to be a normal conversation? He's still incredibly wary.]

[He'll dig through his pocket for a moment and then extract a list from it. After looking over it for a few moments, he nods.]

Are you aware of being a fake version of a real person?

What?

Oh, hey, what do you want?

Would you answer me a few questions?

[He smiles almost pleasantly.]

Maybe.

Am I being accused of something? Or are you serving me with something?

It should be somewhere between the two. You might have heard about the list of those who have been replaced by now?

[Shion must have a subconscious Nezumi-sensor or something, as it doesn't take him more than a few hours to find the taller boy.]

Nezumi!

[Looks at

tries to turn off the sound of the substitute's voice and walks quickly into the opposite direction.]

[This is really beginning to upset Shion, so stubborn as he is, he'll chase after Nezumi.]

Nezumi, why are you avoiding me?! Nezumi!

Go away.

[This is definitely not an expression that Shion should have to expect from the other boy. Not at all. Too angry, too hurt, too hostile.]

[Excuse her for snapping. Or don't. She's quite sick of being called fake.]

I'd like to ask you a few questions, if you wouldn't mind.

[His smile is perfectly pleasant - he would really be an horrible actor if he could not even uphold a friendly mask when he's upset, and he is (and he knows this <.<;;;) a really good actor. So what Izumo will see is a very pleasant person who for what it's worth could be a positive example of someone trying to make you donate to charity in the street, or something like that.]

Mm, the only thing I can remember in my time here where droning was not quite the same was when the Milkman was droning people. Personality wise, there wasn't much difference beyond them wanting insult and kill anyone that got close to them.

... Well, there was also the pod thing during Halloween but that wasn't so much a droning than them being replaced by something else entirely.

None of the replacements has attempted to attack or otherwise injure anyone from what I have heard. ...The emotional damage seems to be vast enough to make up for that.

[Judging by what he has heard as well as by... well, himself. Though he doubts that his bond with Shion is particularely normal, they aren#t particularely normal either he cannot see why anyone would by unphased by their beloved/important ones vanishing because of something this stupid and leaving bad replacements like this behind.

His voice, however, does not betray a hint of being personally affected.]

Could you tell me more about this "pod thing"?

(phone) dualizes December 19 2011, 01:48:26 UTC
Mm, that's certainly clear enough.

( Considering this is the second time this has happened to his brother, he tries hard not to care but even that much in hard.

Nevertheless, his own voice is steady as he continues. )

It happened a little over a month ago now. One day we woke up and people had been completely replaced by these... creatures that acted just like them, expect just like now there was small things that made it clear they weren't the same people. But at the same time they were more cruel and didn't very much care about convincing us that they weren't fake and also making sure the rest of us were replaced too.

There was also there was pods all over town with the originals in it, we just had to find them.

A little over a month ago...

[So Shion must have been alone at that time. Nezumi wishes that he wasn't this positive that the other boy must have been something stupid if he was alone for events like that.]

Changes to this place never seem to last very long. To your knowledge, is there a set number of days that is never exceeded?
