Well this weekend was mad, mad I tell you! Sadie had a spend the night party and what in the hell possessed me to have 6, count em, SIX screaming girls all under age 5 in my home is beyond me! But I bet I never do it again. Gawd, I am exhausted. I think for the most party they had fun, at least I hope so. Totally bombed on my diet lately but ( Read more... )

I think there are a lot of ways to have fun without behaving in ways that can harm you. I got married when I was 18 and had my daughter when I was 21. I got divorced and jumped right into another long-term relationship, so I never really had the chance to go out and be wild and party. But you know what? That's OK. I'm single now but I don't feel like I have to relive my lost youth of getting drunk all the time and doing drugs and waking up with people I don't know. All that kind of behavior does is hurts you and drags your spirit down. Even if I didn't do those things in front of my daughter, my behavior would still affect her. How much fun is a mom who's hung over all the time? How attentive can a mom be when she's all strung out and high? And how happy is a mom who's sleeping around with anybody who will have sex with her? I prefer to relive my youth by going to concerts and bungee jumping and getting my daughter interested in the same music I like. I know a lot of people with children that do that and I honestly can not understand it. Even if you're not worried about the example you're setting for your children, how can you not respect them enough to keep that kind of stuff away from them? It's not like it's difficult to get a babysitter. Gah. Maybe I'm just cranky. :p

Wow it has been a while since you posted here......

I guess it is the cycle of like. You go from being a kid to an adult to being a kid again. It is just strange she becoming a kid while she still has one...

Some people grow up early I guess and think they are really missing out on something if thety did not live the lifestyle.

Hey I am just ramblin....

Welcome back

One of the girls calls up her old ex and apparently she has been seeing him for months now, keep in mind she has a boyfriend who lives with her....

ooo-kay, yah, that's weird to be calling him up at the party, like it's normal to flirt it up with someone else when you're already in a relationship. Poor kids, she pro'ly hardly even noticed them.
