just remember that the three major food groups are, in fact, peanut butter, leftover pizza, and ramen noodles... you'll never go hungry then.
i've been attempting to learn chinese for a while now. it's a very difficult language for a westerner to learn, but the culture is incredible and very poetic. the language is also rewarding in this respect.
i also recommend an eastern philosophy course, especially if you'll be studying chinese.
In comparative studies, my favorite teacher, ever, is Jennifer Delaney. I took her Religious Diversity in America course this past fall. It could have ended up being too low-level for my comprehension needs. But she kept it up.
PS, I don't think you looked like a boy with your hair shorter.
if you want to go international business, throw some anthro or other courses in there. from what i recall, most business schools are fairly insular, and will teach you all about 'business' but not so much about the 'international' regardless of what the line on the diploma reads. besides, even if they do, it'll likely be from the "what cultures are like so you can get them to do capitalism" perspective, and that's a pretty narrow way to look at the world.
