Another Kou Shibasaki/Deco*27/Teddyloid collab? Fuck yessss.

I am still wondering if it's just coincidence that Cul and Yukari are going to be released on the same date (if the given release dates are legit). At any rate, I'm still looking forward to both and I want their jackets.

At least Oliver isn't wearing a bandaid over his sock hhhhh

ALSO, Oliver's bandages are supposed to go with the monster theme that the Power FX robots have going on. They figured bandages fit better than scars when designing him I guess.

Oh, I see. That makes a whole lot more sense. I don't think it entirely excuses it because I don't really know what to think of the whole monster theme, but at least we're not talking Rei Ayanami here.

I don't think it's too much of a concern on the release dates - they were both mentioned in the initial Vocaloid3 announcement, just Yukari didn't have a name then.

Oliver's pronunciation is pretty damn clear - still a bit muffled at times but for once I can tell what he's saying without looking at the lyrics. Not terribly impressed with Cul so far (plus it's a bit weird that now she's got her own voice after being voiced by VY1 until now) but I'm liking Yukari's demos so far, it's no SeeU but still shows quite some variety.

Also looking pretty damn manly thar Al

To be fair to Cul I really do think that's just a terrible demo song. There's no life to it, there's no volume to it, it's just kind of ergh.

Point. I hope they'll get some Ps to make her some demo songs like with Gumi...

She's surely got to have the backing of Vocarevo, so I'd assume at the very least she'll get some solid backup from producers, and probably video backup from the MMD greats.

Oliver gives me hope that English Vocaloids don't have to be inherently terrible. I'm not thrilled about the adorable little boy aspect, but, well, at least it's progress.

Galaxias is a big win for my usual taste, that's for sure. I will be following it happily.

Al what are you even.

Man now that we have Al and IA I'm going to end up so confused every post. Just like I did there.

Oliver is pretty much my favourite of all these new Vocaloids, just seeing him makes me so happy;; Judging by the fanart that's starting to pop up on Pixiv it looks like at least some of the japanese fandom is quite taken with him as well.
I also quite like Yukari...

on another note, I really feel for whatever people there might be out there that buy every single vocaloid. I know there's got to be some people that do. They must be despairing a little right now (or rejoicing, if they're particularly wealthy).
