Nobody posted about this yet? Really? Well then...

Happy (Belated) Birthday GUMI!

Yesterday on June 26 was the first anniversary of the release of Megpoid aka Gumi. A number of producers have created songs specially to celebrate this occasion. Here's some of them (excuse my sucky commentaries):

yuukiss you're so amazing.
Gumi sounds so gooooood.
Yeah, it's just a cover song, but it caught my interest most out of all the latest Gumi uploads.
Wish they would at least cover a different song, though. We know you can make Vocaloids sing Dearest well already yuukiss!

Well, there's the One Room Disco cover with Miku, Luka, and Meiko, and then there's the infamous Nostalogic with Meiko. I still think the Dearest covers are the best he's done with Vocaloids though.

Gumi needs more love. She easily has one of the best, most realistic voices out of the Vocaloids. Seriously.

Yesssss, thanks so much for making this post, I've been super distracted and haven't been keeping up with Gumi birthday tracks at all.

Also holy crap, that Dearest. I HATE THE VIBRATO but everything else is so amazing. *_*

And yes, that Dearest is certainly awesome. Like I said, my favorite version of Dearest.

Pshhh no, CONTRIBUTE ANYTIME. I think Stel is making an announcement all official-like for his next roundup, but we honestly love it when people other than us post. They don't even need to be "themed" posts, anything you want to rec/share is awesome. ♥

It is mine too! I am so blown away by how much like the original it sounds. A-Also that duet with Big Al, wonderful.

WOW THAT DEAREST COVER IS AMAZING!!
I... I still prefer Meiko's mature voice for this song tho.. But, still it's amazing!!
Not to mention the "bonus" song made me giggle (I hope he finishes it a la Nostalgic).

When I saw 泣き虫アンサンブル in the daily Ranking watcher, I totally thought it was related to Yowamushi Montblanc. Glad I wasn't the only one.

And once again, yuukiss shows us how Vocaloid is really used. Now I will never be able to listen to that Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari cover without thinking "this isn't as realistic as that Dearest cover..." orz
