Saw the OotP movie this afternoon. Meh. It wasn't my favorite book, and they made some weird changes, so it was okay, I guess. I liked the thestrals. I still haven't figured out how come the last two movies have had so many scenes where the kids who ought to be in robes are instead wearing Muggle clothes. That's really all I have to say

Apparently even luckier people got a The Dark Is Rising trailer too.

I'm looking forward to the Golden Compass movie. It looks like they've done a pretty good job.
