Okay, that episode was totally squee. And I don't even consider myself in the fandom, really.

( Squee! Is the title a reference to something? I can't figure out what, and it's bugging me. )

(Also, Rodney's sister is way way cuter than Rodney, which is a little odd, seeing as how they have very similar facial features. Probably this just means I'm a lesbian.)

Are you aware she was played by Kate Hewlett, David Hewlett's sister?

Apparently Rodney was supposed to have a brother orginally and David changed a line like, two years ago in anticipation of being able to drag his sister in.

*points upward* "I had been very excited about this episode since TV Guide told me that there was going to be an episode with Rodney's sister, played by the actor's sister."

So, um, yes, I was aware, which is why I was saying it was weird that essentially the same features look better on her. I thought it was really cool that they did the casting like that. Squee. :) I'll have to see what else she's been in...
