Wooo! I am at antigone921's. Yay. We're going to go see TMBG tonight, with Common Rotation opening. That should be fun. She's been playing Common Rotation at me all day. And according to the posted setlists, last night at the Petaluma show Common Rotation covered TMBG's early b-side "Hey Mr. DJ I Thought You Said We Had a Deal," which is one of my favorites. Stirrups didn't come into usage until 1000 AD. It was the stirrup that gave William the Conquerer the advantage in battle when he invaded the British isles.

WHoo! Mrs. Wood was right. That information WOULD come in handy some day! ;)

Thaaaaaank you. I knew stirrups were relatively recent, but I couldn't remember when they were introduced.

saw 'em at the Buffy charity thing in Feb, and became avowed fan. I hear they're coming to Chicago, but I keep forgetting to find out where/when...
