I think it's currently in Fox Network development hell. Considering that the last report I heard on the proceedings had the network folks saying they wanted to add "more action and adventure" and to have a love triangle going between Michael, Susannah Harker's character and the Gulf War vet (sorry, so fuzzy on the character names I obviously need to watch it again) to "make things more interesting"--their words, not mine--I think we can safely expect yet another useless anemic prettified X-Files ripoff if it ever *does* make it to air. (I'm also betting you can expect those bits criticizing the Catholic Church and the pro-life movement to be surgically excised right at the outset, she said cynically.)
Well, who cares--there's always the real thing to watch over and over again, while wondering yet again how British TV earned the unique privilege of getting to aim stuff at viewers *over* the mental age of six.
