I keep thinking that I must have posted about this before, but I guess I haven't: Tor, the SF/F publisher, runs a site that collects SF news as well as other things like original short SF stories. For their five-year anniversary, they have made giant e-book files of all of the stories! You can download 4,000 pages of SF/F for free. (You do have to ( Read more... )

Just a warning that when you register you will also get automagically put on a mailing list, and the mail you get will have an 'unsubscribe' link that is badly formed. So if you want to unsubscribe, you will have to copy the link and get rid of the crap in front of the http:.

Good to know! I don't mind the mailing list, as I like their website anyway -- I get a lot of good book recs there. (Jo Walton had an article in her blog there that was basically Things You Should Read That Are Like Vorkosigan. Hooray, space opera.)
