It took Comcast a week to put the episode up, but it's up. (I mean, by now I was fairly spoiled, but hey.)

Gaiman said there *had* been canon on Timelord gender-switch before, when Eleven had to work out whether or not he was a girl.

AMAZING EP AM I RIGHT? I didn't know who Gaiman was, but if this is the kind of thing he can write then I'll be looking forward to reading some of his stuff.

It felt like a real Doctor Who episode because it was rooted in what has always been constant, the Doctor and the TARDIS. Not always going where he wants to go, but where he NEEDS to go.

That was a very good point. :)

And, um, you definitely need to read Gaiman. If you like comic books, The Sandman is the way to go; I still don't think he's written anything better. Other than that, I guess I would rec American Gods. And maybe Stardust.
