So, I feel very frustrated after losing in poker tonight. I know I need to stop playing but I won't feel justified at least until I win once more. I guess I need to know that I'm not a terribly bad player, and that's what keeps driving me back every time. I know I waste a lot of money when I lose but I can't take failing at a game like this, not ( Read more... )

think of it as paying for lessons and you should make it a point to think about how you lost and why..trust me i know what you mean, it takes time. but dont give up on poker just play within your limits and stick to tournaments..and if youre gonna play cash games dont bring your whole paycheck..set limits and youll see, youll start climbing up the ladder.

I never play cash games... to much trouble there. I would lose my whole pay check lol. But I just let myself slip after I had been doing so well Friday night so I got frustrated and needed to vent. I had won a decent pot with only two tables left and went all in the next hand when I only had a decent hand. I just completely threw my logic out the window, and it just really pissed me off that I was dumb enough to do that. Of course I was beat and drew dead in the water, so I left with some what of a bitter feeling and I haven't had that in awhile.
