Feelings

I’ve kept my hair fairly short for some time now; I have even buzzed it a few times. I think that short hair is sexiest on a woman, the most rudimentary reason being that it exposes the neck and the ears, very lovely parts of a woman. For some reason it also symbolizes empowerment to me. I get the feeling that a woman with very short hair doesn’t ( Read more... )

I feel the exact same way. The difference is, I love having long hair. I love it so much but it's been falling out for months now, in long strands, and every time I shower or comb my hair, or just run my fingers through. It's getting so thin that I've stopped using leave-in conditioner because I'm afraid of how thin it looks.

This happened when I was in high school, too. That's when I started wearing wigs.

Also, don't worry about men who can't see past your hairstyle. They're not the men you want, anyway. Plenty of men think you're the hottest thing since the statue of Venus, with or without hair. Or clothes.

Bad eating habits, probably. I get around 800 calories on a good day.

Oh god, you too?

Since my last year of school, i've been losing my hair by the handful. Sure, i would shed like a fucking cat when i was in highschool, but not like THIS. I lose a handful and a half a day, no kidding. Before the shower, in the shower, and after the shower... I have to clean my brush twice a day, and I have to put it on the tiles because it WILL stop up my drain. The hair on my tiles is getting to a point here removing it is becoming an interesting task.

My hair is still full, but it's a little embarrassing at say, work, after showering that morning, when i'm covered in copious amounts of hair that i am unwittingly shedding.

Vitamin deficiencies? Something medical? Hm, maybe i should see a doctor too....

It could be a reaction to recently coloring or perming your hair. If you haven't, you absolutely should see a doctor! I saw my dermatologist so he could make sure that there was nothing weird about my scalp, and he was able to take my blood in the office. As a general rule, people lose 40-100 hairs a day. Any more than that is abnormal. It could be any number of things, including stress. (Stupid human body. Losing my hair is not going to make me stress less!)

You're absolutely stunning with or without any hair in my book ;) But for your own personal comfort{I know the similar feeling} I hope the doctors figure it out. Miss you!
