Big Brother 3, day 11

Jun 09, 2010 11:57

Day 11 started out very chilly, with an overnight blizzard covering the house and yard in a thick layer of snow. This didn't stop Asparagus from running out in his pyjamas to build a snowman.

Once he made his way inside to shower, Aeryn caused the bathroom to get even steamier.

After breakfast and their morning ablutions, it was time to go outside for the task.

Puss was the first to have problems with the Electrospheres, but fortunately the snow made for a soft landing.

Ash and Dale were the first to grow bored of the task, and instead spent time gossiping about the antics the other HMs had gotten up to.

Certainly not shy, Ash and Kelly soon found their way into the hot tub to heat up.

Though they perhaps should have stayed in there, as standing around in your swimmers while it's snowing isn't very healthy. Connelly and Dale amused themselves by building snowmen, while everyone else remained focused on the task.

Dale and Connelly succumbed to the cold before they could make it back inside and lay there, ignored by the other HMs.

Seraphine was also on the brink of freezing, but managed to race inside just in time.

BB called the task off on account of the weather, but the HMs that had continued hadn't even noticed the cold.

That quickly changed.

Ash finally noticed his fallen HMs, and warmed them up.

Inside, while some HMs were drinking hot chocolate or coffee, or having a shower to warm up, Kelly berated Linda for breaking the shower. With so many people in the House, it was simply bad manners to do something like that.

Feeling a mix of shame and annoyance, Linda in turn berated Nutmeg for breaking another shower.

After showering and indulging in many cups of hot chocolate or coffee, the HMs soon began to thaw out.

Linda and Nutmeg stayed behind to ensure the bathroom was in tip top shape.

Seraphine had not yet forgiven Violette for her angry and unnecessary reaction the day before, and silently raged about it.

Tom was still angry about it too, but he also still loved Violette. How could he not? She was his first, and though she had overreacted, he knew his actions had hurt her. This feeling of remorse, mixed with the extreme cold, was a literal pain in the neck.

Fidelity was never Seraphine's strong point, and while everyone else was getting ready for the eviction, she and Dale found another way to keep warm.

The HMs were messy and thoughtless that night, and forgot to clean up after themselves.

They were in a rush to gather in the lounge for another eviction.

And it was time to go...

Linda!

She couldn't believe it. How could the public not like her? She wondered if it was her dalliance with Dale that they didn't like, but back at home, everyone adored her. They did if they wanted to get anywhere, socially, that was.

Tom wasn't sure how he felt, now that he and Violette would still be in the House together. Could he patch things up?

Linda said goodbye to Dale, unaware of his fling with Seraphine.

He couldn't bear to watch Linda leave.

As she left the House, Linda couldn't help but wonder what would be waiting for her when she got home. Would her husband have heard?

Big Brother called everyone back into the lounge for a surprise announcement. The votes this round had been tied, which meant that there would be a surprise double eviction.

It was time to go...

Violette!

Tom was beside himself with worry. Now he wouldn't be able to patch things with Violette until after he left the House.

Violette was not happy about being evicted, though she guessed her angry reaction to Tom's promiscuity may have had something to do with it.

Despite how fragile things were between them, they both did care for each other, though their hurt and anger was in the way.

Tom also couldn't watch Violette leave, it hurt too much.

Violette's thoughts as she left, however, were not of Tom, but of what fun she might get up to now she was free.

Dale couldn't help but be intrigued by Kelly and Ash's relationship.

Dale: Hey, congrats on smooching Ash! He looks like a good kisser. Is he? What's it like to kiss him. I'd like to...um, never mind.

There was a severe lack of personal space in the House.

Despite Dale's offer, Ash wasn't quite ready to bat for the other team.

Dale hoped that Asparagus might be up for it...once he was finished with Aeryn.

- It was a surprise double eviction to me, too! But Linda and Violette were tied when I closed the poll, so that's how it was to be.
- NO ONE could do anything for Dale and Connelly for ages. It was about an hour after they froze before Ash was able to get the 'warm up' interaction. I have no idea why. But at least they didn't die!
- The others were having dinner when Seraphine and Dale snuck off together, and I tell ya, when I saw what they were up to my jaw dropped and then I said "oh you SLUT!" I really did.
- She's got a want to marry Grant, and rolled a want to marry Tom. Who had a want to get get engaged to Violette AND Seraphine. And lots of others want to fall in love with multiple sims. It's a very strange house.
- sims freezing makes my computer lag. ugh. DNW.
