Royal was the first HM up on Day 5, and he took to the beach to ponder his future in the House. Would he make it through the eviction tonight? He wasn't sure.
Inside, the other HMs were slowly waking up and getting ready for another day.
It started with a bang for some,
and with disappointment and sadness for others.
Violette: Man, I am SO glad I dropped out to come into the House! It is so worth it to just be here and like, get on tv so soon! I'm gonna be big. BIG.
Connelly: That's...great.
After breakfast it was out into the yard for the daily task - sewing! BB decided he needed a bucketload of pot holders, and that the Housemates were to make them for him.
This was a task most of the HMs were keen to jump into, though no one had any sewing experience.
Seraphine was the first to get tired of the task, and wandered away.
Linda was so excited about finally finishing one that she exploded petals.
Grant decided to quit also, and hurried off to find Seraphine.
But BB told them that it wasn't time for shenanigans, and they had to find something else to do.
Grant: Oh man, I know what bird I want her to find.
Slowly, the others decided they'd also had enough, and jumped at the chance to try something new.
Not that they were very good at it.
With the task over, BB sent them to do their daily chores, and Linda found herself almost enjoying cleaning.
Even cleaning the toilet and getting a good shine on it brought a smile to her face.
The kitchen was in a shocking state, but that didn't stop Royal from grabbing some lunch before getting into his chores.
Poor Tom managed to upset the local bee population, and only just avoided being stung.
Kelly decided to go for a swim, but found the slide a bit beyond her.
The other HMs took to the garden, to try to get it looking good again.
Linda took to the beach after finishing her chores, and delighted in the way the sand felt in her hands. Dale took a bubble juice break, and admired the view he had of Linda.
While Royal worried about his future, both in and out of the House, Aeryn and Asparagus couldn't hide their feelings for each other.
Dale convinced Linda to go for another new experience - a bubble high.
And Grant gave Seraphine the most bizarre back rub that BB had ever seen.
Kelly and Nutmeg gave an impromptu performance of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", though no one paid any attention.
Aeryn and Asparagus needed a bit of cooling off, so they took to the ocean for a while.
Puss and Seraphine almost got into an argument over Seraphine's hygiene, but the two managed to sort it out - by Seraphine having a shower.
As BB called everyone to the lounge after dinner, Asparagus suddenly realised just how fit he was feeling. Being in the House was great!
And then it was time for the second eviction! Were they ready? Nutmeg felt like BB was dropping bombs on them all the time.
And the second Housemate to be evicted was...
Royal!
He wasn't surprised that the viewers had voted him out, he felt like he hadn't really connected with anyone in the House, though he would've liked to connect with Ash and Seraphine...at the same time. Perhaps on the outside.
Unfortunately for Royal, it seemed that the other HMs weren't that bothered by his eviction.
They didn't even get up to say goodbye, so he left the House alone, in silence.
Inside, some had moved on to other activities.
Kelly was disgusted by the lack of emotion the HMs had shown towards Royal's departure, forgetting that she herself hadn't shown any either.
Even when they got up to clap and cheer for Seraphine and Grant's photo booth shenanigans, she complained.
Royal heard the whooping and hollering, and thought it was their way of saying goodbye, and felt a bit better.
Only moments after Seraphine and Grant had finished in the photo booth, Kelly did an abrupt about face and slipped in there with Ash.
Asparagus: I hope they wiped the seat down first.
Seraphine: We didn't even get a chance to clean up in there! You're disgusting!
But Ash and Kelly didn't mind. With the excitement over for another night, everyone made their way to bed. All wondering - who would be next?
Notes:
- Poor Royal. No one cared when he left!
- Given the state of the kitchen, I'm kind of surprised no one got sick or died by flies. It was pretty foul.
- Sorry about the delay in getting this up. I've had a busy week, with dramas and issues and my computer chair broke so I'm using a dining chair and it's just not comfortable. And my computer hasn't been enjoying playing the sims lately, so I'll need to fix that up, I guess. Life is pretty stressful right now, so finally getting these two days finished hasn't been easy, but writing them up is a nice escape from my worries for a bit. Hopefully I'll get everything sorted out soon so I can go back to being happy and stress free soon. I find it easier to update when I'm feeling good, which I guess isn't all that surprising.
- The next update for these guys will hopefully make up for the lack of drama in this one!
