This was really beautiful. I loved Orlando's gradual awakening and his need to savour every part of Sean. The gradual return of each sense as he wakes more was brilliant and just how it is when you're waking up slowly after a very deep sleep. Sean seeking out the feel of Orlando's body against his even when he was asleep was gorgeous and I loved how Orlando quickly snuggled against him to reassure him.

I don't normally feel very comfortable reading first person narratives, but this was really lovely.

It would be very nice to read Sean's POV.

I can't tell you how much your words of encouragement mean to me! Thank you so much, and now that I've gotten my feet wet, so to speak, I'm sure there will be more to come. I've got a 5 chapter fic for the Valentine Challenge almost ready and then that idea for a companion piece to this.

Yep, you are definitely one of the reasons I came out of lurk-dom!!! I have always loved your stories! Another reason is that you all seem to have so much fun here and I wanted to join in!

Okay, I finally had some time to read your fic when I wasn't about to fall asleep :) You really have a lovely way with words, great descriptions that set the scene quite well. You really feel that early morning light and that sluggishness that turns into more as they both awaken (lucky Sean *g*). What a wonderful beginning to your writing and I look forward to seeing more from you and watching as you grow as a writer!

This is a wonderful first fic.

I'm not usually drawn to first person pov fics, but it works out really well here. I love the slow sleepy thoughts as Orlando wakes up.
I really enjoyed the little bits of humour you wove into the story, it keeps it light and interesting.

I'm certainly interested to read Sean's POV, so you'd better go for it.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially as it's not your usual cup of tea. It's certainly different from anything I've ever attempted before! I was reading a fic that talked about Sheffield United's "Chip Butty" song, which is set to the tune of John Denver's "You Fill Up My Senses", and before I knew it, this was in my head and it wouldn't leave me alone, lol!

I'll begin work on the follow-up to this AFTER I finish my Valentine story. I still have one and a half chapters to go! Thanks again for your words of encouragement. They mean more to me than you can ever know, especially coming from an author whose work I admire as much as I do yours!
