Freezing game

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me - when I'm playing the game, it will just randomly freeze and not recover. The animations keep going, as does the sound, but the game never responds again. It was doing it very severely on one of my save files, to the point where it was unplayable, so I started over with a new neighbourhood. For a good while

It sounds like there are sims who are getting stuck and freezing your game. Overwatch does clear those problems up but maybe it isn't acting fast enough if your town is badly clogged. Have you tried entering the cheat "resetsim *"? (Without quotation marks of course.) If that alleviates the problem then we know it is at least partly caused by that age-old problem.

Do you make sure to save your game often and do "save as?" This also helps with freezing and memory issues. If you install Twallan's Saver, it will automatically prompt you to save, and it uses up to four different save file names. Maybe this will help.
