Problem adding Skintone

Ok so here is dilema, going through the Sims 3 info online I found this great skintone hack from HP. You basically have some "detail" on your sims body.

It's my understanding that they don't automatically appear on pre-built Sims -- that you'll need to start a new city before they're applied. I might be wrong, but I went ahead and started from scratch and they worked for me.

Failing that, I'd double-check the resource.cfg and that the packages are placed in the right directory, but I trust you've gone down that road a few times in abject frustration already....

I have Vista and the skins work perfectly. I've heard rumor that you can delete your *.cache file for the city in question to reload all sims quickly with the new tones (I haven't tried this myself).

Thanks everyone, I might have to delete the cache file as I have not tried that. I will try again when I get home :-)

I also found a way to update all your skins whitout starting a new game.
Go to "My Documents" open the folder "Electronic Arts" next the folder "The Sims 3"
and delete the file "simCompositorCache.package" next time you start your game the file will be made again. (this time with the new skintones).
