Sims3pack files not installing.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the Sims 3 Launcher. I finally realized how to install sims3packs, and that is with the launcher. That being said, some of my custom content won't install. It will notify me that the content has installed, but it doesn't give me the little icon next to it that says it's been installed. The kicker is that most of my ( Read more... )

I've had the same problem. I'm not sure whether the launcher or the files is at fault but I got around the problem by using Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extracter. It extracts the package out of the sims3pack so that you can install it with the rest of your packages. It will extract from multiple sims3packs but I tend to extract just one at a time. The packages tend to extract with nonsense file names and I like to make sure I'm renaming the right thing with the right name.

I'm having the same problem with Subxai's sunburn blush, as well as some of the EA items like the Holiday items.

It's the Launcher. You can grab the old .exe from the CD and use it to install custom content ( ... )
