6 Months
As of yesterday, Emily and I have been courting for 6 months. This has absolutely been the best 6 months of my life. She is an amazing woman of God and I am totally in love with her. Surgery
Going in for hernia surgery this morning. Can't sleep. Lord protect me. -
Night Shift
I changed employers two weeks ago and I'm now working night shift. I don't mind it much, but my days off are pretty lonely because I still stay up all night and sleep all day. I'm feeling pretty lonely today...I'd almost rather be at work. -
Job Offer
I just got a job offer and I'm torn about whether or not to take it. I know I can't just go based on the pros and cons, I need to hear the Lord. Speak to me o' God!
Just for the sake of comparison...
Pros:
-25% pay increase
-Within walking distance of home
-Gym on-site
-Job stability
-More safety (always have co-workers)
Cons:

I finally got to see Emily for the first time in a week and a half, but there was no joy. Where was the joy? Where was the joy? -

I asked Emily yesterday morning and she said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning I will be asking Emily to court. My life will never be the same again. -
Meeting With The Dad
I got the go-ahead from all five pastors, both elders, two older men at church that I respect, and my discipler to begin a courtship with Emily! I called Emily's dad this afternoon and set up a dinner meeting with him tomorrow to ask for his permission. I need massive prayer, especially between 6:30pm and 8:00pm PST.
