A good friend of mine has switched her phone service over to VOIP, and until everything is settled, no one can call her, she and her husband can only make phone calls but not receive them.  It's odd.  Will be able to call them next week, apparently.

I've been at the library for the past couple of hours, just looking for work online (they have free wifi!) and applying for jobs.  Man, my battery is awesome!  Next time, I'll bring my power cord, since they have a special table with hidden outlets.  Sweet!

Back at my part-time job.  It's hectic - I'm doing math quickly and writing out receipts by hand and making change while keeping an eye on dozens of kids all excited to be at the theatre and downing sugary cupcakes.  The kids can be awfully cute, but it's pretty tiring.  There's a surprising amount of heavy lifting.  All the theatre jobs I've had, ( Read more... )

I was watching a tv show that featured a behind-the-scenes episode on a calendar shoot, and one of the months had a photo to represent Easter festivities.  It had tons of bunnies!  Is there anything cuter than a bunny?  It would be awesome to some day have a home where I could have some house rabbits.  The local Humane Society used to litter box ( Read more... )

I'm charging my little notebook computer while I write.  I am still learning to use this new, smaller-scaled keyboard.  I keep hitting a key which bumps the cursor to the beginning of the page!  I'm learning.
