I thought there was a problem with my bike, so booked it in for a service.

There is.

Current bill is £300 + the cost of a new exhaust.

I have no idea how much new exhausts are, but have seen them advertised from £200 to £800. Plus I'll have to pay more for fitting.

Definately going fully comp this year.

I'd laugh, but i fear it might cost something.

I really am buggered by this. If only I hadn't bought a house and loads of furniture, and instead used all my savings to fix the bike. Then I'd be laughing.

well the current cost is £350 + the cost of a new exhaust, but after chatting to the garage I can get a cheaper exhaust thats just as good for about £200, so thats far less of a worry.
