I'm the first one in the lab this morning - that's a first! When you work with 10+ people, one of whom has a habit of getting in by 6am, that is not an easy achievement. I got to use my keys for the first time. Exciting. At my last lab, if I got there at 930 I was sure to be first; and those couple of months when I was jobless and had nowhere to be

LOOOOL. My daily work sched is to wake up at 5:45 to 6, then leave by 7 til 7:20. Any later than that, then I get swept up the traffic. It's a one and a half to two hours worth of travel from home to office. 9 is the start of the shift, until 6. Unfortunately, 6 til 8 are peaks hours, so I wait until 8:20 for the traffic to subside. Then trek home and get there by 10-ish. Then I sleep by 1 am.
In the midst of that, I'm set in the metropolis with little to no greenery, overwhelming traffic, and currently, rainy season! And no car, so public transportation. D:
Anyhoo, I hope to see your sunrise photos one day!

Does waiting that late for traffic to clear actually save you time?
One good thing about public transport instead of driving is that you can do something like read or write while you're traveling. Silver lining...

Actually, yesterday, I tried leaving right at the end of the shift... and ended up standing in the rain for 2 hours ish. So leaving early and waiting is just the same, but with more stres at the latter. :P
Ironically, once the time reaches 9-ish, the 2 hour travel becomes a thirty minute ride. D:
Eh, I don't read nor write at the bus; too bumpy, too fast, too swervy, and my vision sucks, so I'll get vertigo. I try to write within those two hours, lol, but I don't like it because it breaks my groove when I have to leave.
