The last link isn't working. But jeez, is the concept of identity theft foreign to these people? There's alot that can be done when someone has name, email and address

I think it's fixed. I couldn't figure out where I messed up the tags in the first paragraph, though. But, man, I just wanted to reach through my monitor and shake her.

It annoys me that I took the time to post a reasonable approach and she wasn't bothered to respond to it. She'd respond to the "is too" arguments, but not mine. Wah. :D

I just LOVE how EA has the power to change the law. Not acting on it=legalising it? WTF?

I would bet money that person works for or submits to TSR. That is the most illogical logic I have ever heard. IZ NOT ILLEGAL CUZ I SAY SO!!!!!!!1 *bangs head into wall repeatedly*

Regardless of whether and how easy it is to obtain personal information via internet, or what expectations of privacy there are, PAYPAL DOES NOT ALLOW DISTRIBUTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. Therefore, TSR's actions are ILLEGAL. No matter what the intent is, how few or many people the information was shared with. If it was shared with even ONE PERSON it was a violation of privacy as well as breaking the Paypal ToS. It is morally reprehensible and most certainly illegal.
