Upcoming Lecture Series on "Unfinished Tales" & a Call for Papers for "The Inklings and King Arthur"

This past weekend, I attended a fantasy studies and Tolkien studies conference, Mythmoot II. I come back bearing information that might be of interest to some of our members here!

ETA: And wow, that books sounds amazing!

Oh, that book sounds fascinating! I'm eagerly awaiting it. And hopefully someone does the Spiritual Quest in a Scientific Age one, which sounds fascinating to me, depending on what angle they come at it from (I'm obviously biased towards an anthropological one, but that's sadly not one of the specified disciplines...history could still be very interesting to come at it from).

I wish I was actually qualified to try writing anything...

I did Mythgard before! It's awesome! Glad for the info about it-- i was auditing their first class and it's cool they're still doing it. I love Olsen! =) Thanks!

See my inner Sir Gawain jump up and down in excitement. (Silly boy.) Now to find something that passes as a suitable topic! Aside from the "Spiritual Quest" thing and/or the "Tolkien as Arthurian Scholar" question, none of the topics on the list even scratch poor SGGK. Hmmmpf...
