I get what you mean about Alex being a cross between Tony and Maxxie (and Maxxie's dad is the bestest, yeah) although I think that gen 3 has a tendency to try just a little too hard with the characters (see: Alex). HE CARRIES A FUCKING DICE AROUND. WHAT EVENNN? I kind of felt like this about S5 Franky as well, though not as much. All the gen 1 characters could have been real people. Alex... not so much :/ Having said that, I really enjoyed the episode and I found the character muchly endearing <3 His gran is endearing too, as you mention!

I also got that vibe. Then again she was pretty persistent even after he came out, so I think it went both ways a little bit. Now they've cleared it up, they will have BFF magic (like in the last scene), I knows it!!
You know, I don't think I gave Liv enough credit at all last season. I think it's because her storyline became so intertwined with Matty's, who I hate with the power of a thousand hot suns. But she's definitely one of the very best parts of S6 so far.
Though I have to say I think it's harder if you're bi. Like, obviously you want girls/boys to be comfortable with the fact that you are bi so you want to slip it in there, somewhere like 'ohhhh my ex girlfriend' or whatever but equally you don't want that to be taken as a sign that you're not interested in someone. CONUNDRUMS, CONUNDRUMS!!!ha! Yes, the old "my ex-girlfriend" trick! Very subtle. I usually go for that one too. LOL. And I can see your conundrums, you're kind of screwed both ways, aren't you? I can't imagine. In person, women tend to make me nervous... because apparently I will always be a teenage boy around the sex I'm attracted to. My brain goes, like, "oh, you are at least mildly attractive, well this is awkward, hi? what do I say to you? oh, I'm just going to sound

I can't exactly put my finger on the Tony vibe, but it's like... how he observes people and quickly perceives interpersonal dynamics, how he's promiscuous & unemotional about sex, how he plays elaborate games to make the world more exciting, and sometimes he says these blunt things. Like kind of a Tony with all of Maxxie's sweetness, good intentions, and flashes of vulnerability. idk, that was just kind of my impression.
Anyway, YES I did like him very much. Like with Tony, I feel like if I knew him in real life then it would all be too much and get tiring very quickly. But I enjoy watching him.
