I've fallen in love with dork!Nick, he's just so precious. I would ship Alo/Nick like a motherfucker. ACES.
I'm really hoping that S6 doesn't kick off with more Matty/Franky ~dramaz. I know the writers tend to go their own way, but I don't know if they can miss how much viewers haven't embraced that pairing. It just did not hit it off with people like Grace/Rich did (or Sid/Cassie, Chris/Jal, Freddie/Effy, Cook/Effy, and Naomi/Emily in past gens).
I've been rewatching some of the season again, and I really feel like it has a more optimistic tone in general than any season previously. Still plenty of angst, but there seems to ultimately be more sweet with the bitter. And I'm finding that the balance really works for me. (perhaps the writers had to cleanse their palate after S4 or commit mass suicide)
I'm sure next season will be darker (as that tends to be the pattern), but I wonder if they're going to overcompensate in hopes of increasing the ratings or keep with this slightly lighter tone.
