Absolutely gorgeous opening shot. I adore how they used light and color.

I love how now Liv now wants Franky along once it’s clear that Mini doesn’t approve. Girl drama trumps love triangle.
“Throbbing Gristle!” “Alien Sex Fiend!” So fucking AWESOME that they referenced real goth/industrial bands that I loved in high school.
“If anyone can, McGinness can.” Awww, Alo. So sweet, ILU.
Franky really is kind of dangerously lost with Liv/Matty. They’re more than a little out of her league, in terms of sexual expression, casual drug use, and frivolous law breaking.
Ahahaha, I knew the chanalider scene involved Franky being seriously high.
“Game on.” Oh, Liv. Let’s not play with Franky’s mind, yeah? NOT COOL.
I do like her saying, “it’s okay.” Except… I’m not so sure she means it, with all the smirking.
Matty shakes his head at it, I’ll give him that. (because, seriously, anyone can see that Franky is seriously damaged)

Franky’s speech of youthful weirdness with random 9/11 insertion is SO FUCKING ODD. Does not work. This show is often so brill, so it stands out horribly when they falter this massively.
Wow, do Matty/Franky have like negative levels of chemistry. Franky looks like she’s trying hard to be into it, but she’s not. But I can’t tell if it’s that's on purpose.
Franky’s sexual freak out -- about prior abuse or not? I WANT TO KNOW.
I like that it was Liv to help Franky up, instead of either of her two love interests.
Franky: “I just wanted... to feel normal.” God, I really want info about what’s going on there. Is she actually not interested in guys after all? (‘cause she did look a bit affected by the 5x7 Mini kiss, so it’s hard for me to think she doesn’t like girls) Is it post-abuse trauma? WHAT IS GOING ON??
Alo and Nick showed up!! SO ADORABLE.
“Blood is coming!”
“Where are my bride’s maids?”

Blood’s a wedding crasher! And then everyone shows up!
“Her future’s her, not ours.” hello Mommy Blood, speaking the only sensible words to come out of her mouth since ever.
Nick pulling Rich back = LOVE.
Nick’s epic speech (unlike Franky’s earlier) was PURE GOLD, because it was dorky just like would come from his character, but also wonderful because it was about how everyone now adores him and accepts his dorkiness and appreciates the sentiment. This was fantastic closure for Nick's episode, because finally he has what he really wanted and tried to pretend to Matty that he had.
“Don’t ever cut your hair again.” <3333333333333333 !!!
“Well, things are good, with us. So do we really need to change things?”
“Well, you can just take me to be your boyfriend.”

Liv, to Matty: “It’s not your fault.” This was actually a completely sweet scene. Liv, with the Mini scene than then the last Franky scene, and then now you are completely redeemed for me AND I DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENED.
Franky: “I used to beam myself away to someone where I felt less weird.”
Liv: “You’re not.”
AND MINI SMILES. Which, like the Nick moment, was kind of a perfect follow up to what was going on with them earlier in the season.
Wonderful group hijinks.
“You are a glorious headfuck thing. Own it.” LOL, turning around their first meeting. But sorry show, I’m still not feeling this pairing. At all.
Can’t believe the freakin’ episode ends on a Franky/Matty hug. But at least that’s far better than a staring contest or kiss.
Still, this is by far the highest note that any of the generations have left their first series on. And I really liked that. And all the group love and friendship appreciation was glorious. Everyone is just at peace with each other and happy to be together. Despite my dislike of the FML triangle, this was a nice, feel-good finale.
I feel like, in the end, the writers this season ship friendship over anything else. Which is refreshing and I hope continues in Season 6. Let's shoot for a COMPLETELY HAPPY ending for this gen -- what do you think?
