I have this thing, see, where I surf about Netflix, add movies to my queue, and then forget whatever the fuck I did. Thus, every time something is shipped to my house it's like, "surprise!!"

Today's mail brings: "After accidentally causing the death of her mother, a young lesbian, Lenni, runs away with her auto mechanic girlfriend. To add a degree ( Read more... )

I seem to remember a couple of fictional lesbians who were lawyers. *points at Melanie from QAF* to be fair, Lindsey was in the art world. *giggle snort*

I wrote a scene in Going Nowhere where Vince makes E hold up his hands to prove he hasnt lied. I love that they make each other play by the same rules they had when they were like...10. I bet they have their own version of the pinky-swear too.

I swear, I love Vince and Eric, but they hate me. They won't let me write them. I have bunnies for Turtle/Eric, for christsakes, but not Vince/E. It's cruel and unfair.

I think you have missed princess as a profession. That is just an oversight, I'm sure.

Now. The important thing here is that you spill your guts about this Turtle/E bunny, because that sounds like the cuddliest bunny, ever, and I then I will ask you very nicely beg you to let me bounce my E/Vince bunny off you BEFORE I GO INSANE because OMG how is it possible that I don't know ANYONE who watches Entourage??! Seriously, I am beginning to think my friends are impared. How can they not watch Entourage? *whines pathetically*

I've always thought of princess as more of a birthright, myself. ;)

I think we must definitely discuss this Vince/E bunny of yours, though unfortunately I must now go to work. :(

Man, here's a late comment, but: Season 2 is fabulous for these moments. I read these lines and then had to watch that episode and you are so right. I bet they used to play crime fighters or cop buddies or something back in the neighborhood.

I rewatched half of Season 2 this weekend, then backtracked to S1, which also has some lovely "you guys are really, totally 12" moments. Vince eating SUGAR out of the package in the Pilot, for instance.

omg, YES. I love the sugar package moment too. I always go, 'wtf dude'? I bet he also opens the packages of semi-sweet baking chocolate chips that Drama tries to hide in the cupboard. Drama keeps all of these super sekret Vince-proof hiding places in the kitchen.

And yeah, they're cop buddies like you play at cop buddies - that's what's fabulous. They're, like, terminally 15. FOREVER. That's why they take these insane risks -- they're playing at being Hollywood big shots. I find it interesting how Vince is always repeating, like a mantra, that it would be okay if they lost everything and had to go home. This is how he feels safe: the belief that they could pick up their toys at any time and just leave, if they want to, have to. It's just something they're trying on, a game ( ... )

Dude, I open the chocolate packages and eat them. Does that make me a bad person? If it makes me Vince, I'm OK with it. ;)

Yeah, they're totally playing, until somewhere around Season 3, I think, when things start falling apart and Eric gets to be Super Serious. Rewatching Season 1 has reminded me of how much non-movie fun the guys used to have, and how little they seem to be having in later seasons. For instance: golfing off the roof! Boxing matches! Setting the dog loose on Turtle! Now it's like Turtle and Drama have adventures and E and Vince get in business fights. Where's the fun gone? They've stopped playing, maybe? I'm having a little mourning for The Old E at the moment. But I love New E, too.

And Turtle totally has his moments, end of S3, you're right. I'm always glad to encourage and support the platonic Turtle-love!
